    Dan Connors
    Chief Technology Officer, Boulder AI
    Dan Connors is co-founder and CTO at Boulder AI and Associate Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Colorado (Boulder, Denver).  Connors' research explores artificial intelligence (AI) and deep learning computer vision models for training computers to detect objects and classify activities.  Connors co-founded Boulder AI, a company that provides edge vision systems to solve emerging applications of AI in human behavior analysis, smart infrastructure, and automated agriculture & industrial processing.


    Michael Moses
    Chief Executive Officer, Red Mountain Scientific
    Mike is a passionate and dedicated business professional skilled at building high performance, entrepreneurial teams.  Previously to founding Red Mountain Scientific, Mike directed software development and big data implementations as a consultant for multiple Fortune 500 companies. Mike has extensive expertise in advanced image processing techniques derived from working in the fields of drone image acquisition, satellite remote sensing, and aerial photogrammetry. Mike is a former Research Scientist for the U.S. Department of the Interior and holds BS and MS degrees from Texas A&M University.


    Moana Sato
    Data Manager, AMP Robotics
    Moana is the Data Manager at AMP Robotics. She maintains the quality of data used at Amp Robotics by using her keen eye for recyclable materials and some patience to train and improve the production of their data acquisition team. With a background in early childhood education, her biological understanding of development aids her in bridging the gap between artificial and human intelligence. She entered the company leading with her passion for recycling and with Amp, hopes to make waves throughout the industry.


    Jay Swartz
    Chief Science Officer, Blackbox AI
    Mr. Swartz brings to bear over 40 years of experience in software engineering, research, marketing and consulting with companies such as Apple Computer, IBM, Seagate Technology, Sun Microsystems (Oracle) and Welltok. Currently Chief Scientist at BlackboxAI and advisor to multiple startups, he contributes a rich, multi-disciplinary perspective based on his work with machine learning, blockchain, virtual reality, information systems, web/mobile solutions and global technology management. He achieved state of the art performance with IBM Watson, exceeding 97% accuracy, resulting in two patent filings.


    Alvin McBorrough
    Co-Founder & Managing Partner, OGx Consulting

    Alvin is a strategist with deep implementation experience—helping clients anticipate the impact that new and emerging technologies may have on their business in the future, and getting there from the realities of today. As the Managing Partner & CEO, Alvin is responsible for defining the vision for OGx Consulting, identifying and communicating technology trends affecting clients’ businesses, and shaping the strategy for OGx emerging services and offerings. Alvin has an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, a Master’s Degree from the University of Denver, and a BA Degree from the University of Ghana.

    Join the Denver Business Series on Thursday, November 15 for a fun and casual networking event at Lime Restaurant in the Denver Pavilions, overlooking the 16th Street Mall.  Enjoy heavy appetizers of Mexican fare and three drink tickets as we head into the holiday season of indulgence!  From street tacos to salt-rimmed margaritas, kick back and relax at the last networking event before our big Holiday Party in December, from 5:30 - 8:00 p.m.

    Parking is available in the Denver Pavilions garage with access on Welton Street between 15th and 16th Street for a flat rate of $7 for the entire evening after 5 pm.  Lime Restaurant is on the third floor of the Pavilions.
